- 1 year old male husky mix. Young, playful and energetic.
He seems to be interested in playing with other dogs, he
plays with his next door neighbor with toys through the
fence. He is also very affectionate and definitely craving

 Meka
is a 3 year old spayed female with beautiful markings and
blue eyes. She was surrendered to the shelter after her
owners had a new baby and medical issues which prevented
them from giving her what she needs. Meka is a happy and
playful young dog. She is housebroken and crate trained.
She lived with a cocker spaniel in her former home. She
can be anxious around strangers and small children and would
do best with a dog savvy home. |

eyes - stray. Very friendly. Great with other dogs, kenneled
with 6 other dogs. He is a friendly old guy who has been
at the shelter far too long. He has a lot of love left and
deserves a loving home to spend his golden years.

is a 10 year old spayed female. We believe she is a lab/husky
mix. She has one blue eye and one brown so she's a real
attention grabber. She came to our shelter after living
in a barber shop most of her life. She does not like children,
probably is not a fan of cats and she is selective with
dogs, although she's done well with her canine companions
here. She would best be placed in quiet, adult only home. |

a gorgeous Siberian mix about 2 years of age. Timmy loves
other dogs and lived with cats at one time. Timmy was
also part of a family with children too. Timmy loves to
romp and play, is very friendly with everyone he meets.
When Timmy is first in a new situation he gets a little
nervous and will mark. Once comfortable and confident
the marking stops.

 Jack
A790392 is a 10 year old neutered male Siberian Husky. He
is a favorite of the shelter staff. Jack's
story is very heart breaking. His owner of 10 years had
to give him up because of a new landlord who took over the
only place he’s ever lived and now he’s not
allowed. His owner was crying while leaving the shelter.
Jack is a very sweet guy who is very youthful and gorgeous.
According to his owner, Jack is great with adults, kids,
other dogs. Manhattan shelter.
A
shelter volunteer wrote: Can you believe that Jack is
ten years old? He looks wonderful, far younger than his
years. His owner was forced to surrender him on 11/21/08,
because the owner's new landlord doesn't allow dogs. But
he told us how Jack loves men, women, children and other
dogs. We confirm that's true! Jack walks beautifully on
a leash, takes treats gently from your hands (as if he's
whispering), and adores being petted and hugged. And those
blue eyes ... they'll melt your heart. We want Jack to
find a new home ASAP. His owner certainly took great care
of Jack but now Jack needs a new home. He's soooo special.
